I tried updating it to “High Definition Audio Controller” but external mics are not detected afterward. All options in MaxxMaxxAudioPro are disabled. “Signal enhancements” in control panel is disabled. “Audio enhancements” in settings is disabled. This test gives only 2% for every jack mic. “Test your microphone” feature in Windows 11 sound settings panel gives 20% for the laptop microphone. I've checked audio settings and my input volume is set to 100. I have tested multiple mics (headsets, professional microphone, USB headset), all of them are insanely quiet when used with my XPS 9500 but not with other devices, so it is an issue with the laptop specifically.
